We loved having Gloss Girl H at our Vancouver Boudoir Studio! We asked her about her experience at Gloss, and this is what she had to say:

“I have never done a boudoir shoot before, and was nervous to try it, but my manager had just done a shoot with Gloss and she convinced me to do it! I had seen the pictures on the Gloss Instagram page, and had seen my manager/friend’s photos as well, and every single one looked so beautiful. I wanted pictures like that, but I was nervous mine wouldn’t turn out as pretty as everyone else’s. I struggle a lot with comparison and remembering that the presence of someone else’s beauty isn’t the automatic absence of my own. Even on the morning of my shoot, deposit paid, outfits bought and everything, I considered just not going.”

“As soon as I got to the studio and started talking with Kelsey while she did my make-up I felt a lot better. Kelsey did such a bomb job on my make-up. Honestly. I just need to take a minute to tell you all how amazing it was. She put my make-up on at 10am and it lasted through the shoot, a full shift of work, and a night of dancing. I didn’t even have to re-glue my eyelashes. I got so many compliments on my make-up it was actually insane”

“As for the shoot itself, Marcee made it so easy. I had no idea how to pose or what to do with myself, but Marcee gave me awesome instructions and made me feel a lot more comfortable. Marcee has such positive energy and really knows what she’s doing. I was amazed by how many photos I got after the shoot and how beautiful they all were. I was so nervous I wouldn’t like any of the pictures, but instead I had a hard time trying to narrow down all my favourites. I had so much fun and I can’t wait to book my next shoot with Gloss hopefully sometime soon! :)”
