“I decided to do a boudoir photo session with Gloss because I am trying to get out of my comfort zone this year and make myself do things that I find intimidating – in turn hopefully improving my lack of confidence in myself! I had been looking at different boudoir photographers for a couple of years and the images that I saw on the Gloss blog were consistently beautiful. The photos were sexy, yet tasteful and the woman in the images looked genuinely comfortable in front of the camera – the comments associated with the photos from clients seemed to reflect that feeling.”
“I was incredibly nervous before the shoot and I think physically shaking for the first part of it. I was worried that I would not be able to pose right and would end up looking ridiculous. I tend to be more awkward in life than sexy and poised and had no idea how I would be able to hide that, especially when all of my “not so happy about” parts of my body were out on display.”
“One of my favourite things about my shoot was the energy – the women at Gloss are all amazing at putting you at ease. It felt great going into this with gals that felt like real people, particularly as a quiet person that struggles desperately with small talk! And one of my best memories was laughing at myself trying to get my booty stuck out just so. I loved how relaxed Meg and the studio environment was – feeling comfortable and laughing a bit made it a lot easier to bare my body to strangers eyes and an unforgiving camera lens!”
“I would tell other women that are considering a shoot with Gloss, just do it! Don’t worry about having someone to share them with – do it for yourself! The boudoir shoot is a surprisingly empowering experience – but then, who doesn’t need to be told that they look amazing from time to time :)”
