“My visit to Gloss was an amazing chance to reinforce some body positivity for myself – not always easy for a woman who is 55 and who has a body that doesn’t always meet popular standards! The whole experience was fun, affirming, massively gratifying! As a bit of an attention hound, it was a rare treat to have makeup and hair done – and to emerge looking like the best version of myself, not someone I couldn’t recognize! And then, the shoot with Marcee was like hanging out with a best girlfriend – lots of fun chatter, encouragement, laughter. It was a blast and I left feeling amazing! It was a lot of fun to pull together some outfits (Including my flannel “Canadian Lingerie”), and all-in-all a fabulous self-indulgence and 100% worth the nervousness and the investment.
